TraceDX App Pilot
Terms
The TraceDX pilot is for professional automotive diagnostic work only. These terms include the privacy, diagnostic disclaimer, data-rights, and support baseline while the product is being validated.
Who Operates TraceDX
TraceDX is operated by Nordic Creative Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 07580121.
Registered office: 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX.
Free Private Pilot
Participation in the TraceDX private pilot is free of charge. There is no obligation to continue using TraceDX after the pilot.
By accepting a pilot invitation, creating an account, or using TraceDX, you agree to these terms for yourself and, where applicable, your workshop or business.
You or Nordic Creative Limited may end your pilot participation at any time. Access may also be suspended or withdrawn where reasonably necessary to protect users, data, the service, or other participants.
Who May Use the Pilot
TraceDX is intended for automotive professionals and invited pilot users. It is not a public consumer diagnostic product.
You are responsible for using TraceDX only within your competence, local laws, workshop procedures, and any applicable repair-data licences.
What TraceDX Does
TraceDX helps structure vehicle, case, evidence, assessment, test result, report, and outcome records in a private workspace.
Some outputs may be AI-supported. AI-supported outputs are assistance for professional judgement, not final truth or repair authorisation.
Pilot Limitations
The pilot may change quickly, features may be disabled by feature flag, and support may ask for feedback or reproduction details.
Scanner integration, billing, public report sharing, parts ordering, rich repair-data procedures, and native apps are outside the current pilot.
Safety Boundary
Do not use TraceDX to request or carry out immobiliser/security defeat, coding/write/adaptation, ECU flashing, emissions defeat, mileage tampering, unsafe SRS/airbag instructions, or unqualified high-voltage procedures.
If a workflow requires licensed repair information, calibrated tooling, or a qualified safety procedure, use the appropriate professional source before acting.
Privacy and Data Use
Nordic Creative Limited is the controller for TraceDX. For privacy questions or data-rights requests, contact support@tracedx.io.
TraceDX processes account, workspace, vehicle, case, evidence, diagnostic, report, feedback, support and technical data to provide the requested pilot service, run and protect it, support users, and learn from the limited professional pilot. The detailed Privacy Notice explains the lawful bases, recipients, international transfers and retention periods.
The service uses Supabase, Vercel, Sentry, OpenAI, OpenAPI Automotive, Resend, Zoho Mail and an encrypted Google Drive backup location. OpenAI is used for assessments, conditional hosted search, voice transcription, image/PDF extraction and natural-language evidence organisation. Provider keys are never exposed in frontend code.
Workspace data and private files are access-controlled. Some processors operate internationally under contractual transfer safeguards; we do not claim that every provider processes only in the UK or EU.
Diagnostic Disclaimer
TraceDX is not a substitute for manufacturer repair information, wiring diagrams, pinouts, torque specifications, safety procedures, technical service bulletins, or legal compliance material.
Current Assessment, evidence strength, score, report, and next-test wording describe support from available evidence. They are not guarantees of truth.
The technician or workshop remains responsible for deciding what tests, repairs, safety steps, and customer communications are appropriate.
Data Rights
Depending on the processing and circumstances, pilot users may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and may withdraw an optional consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
For privacy or data-rights requests, contact support@tracedx.io from the email used for your pilot account and include the relevant workspace, vehicle, or case scope where possible.
These rights are not absolute. Some records may need to be retained for a legal claim, binding duty, active security incident, verified request or restore incident. Support will explain the reason and affected scope.
You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Support
For pilot support, contact support@tracedx.io.
Support can help with pilot access, sign-in, workspace setup, evidence upload problems, assessment/report failures, data-rights requests, and unsafe or confusing output.
Support cannot provide emergency repair instructions, vehicle-specific safety procedures, immobiliser/security bypass help, coding/write/adaptation workflows, or replacement for licensed repair data.
These pilot terms are a baseline for testing and must be reviewed before wider launch.
